How It Started

A passion for sustainable seafood

Royal Oyster Co. was born from a passion for sustainable seafood and a desire to make premium oysters accessible to everyone.

We partnered with Tomales Bay Oyster Farm — the oldest oyster farm in California — to bring you a piece of history: the taste of cold Pacific-fed, mineral-rich currents and the pristine waters of Tomales Bay Estuary.

Our process is simple: oysters are harvested, expertly cleaned and packed, ready to move in our temperature-controlled van. No long storage, no rough handling — just pure ocean freshness to your table.

Sustainable Seafood

Responsible aquaculture, exceptional taste

We chose to partner with a sustainable seafood farm to help with less impact on the environment. Our oysters are farmed with no fertilizer, no feed, and no artificial compounds. Their source of food comes from the nutrients brought in by the tide — saltwater, algae, and natural phytoplankton.

Oysters are one of the most efficiently produced proteins compared to average animal-grown meats — less dependent on inputs like fresh water. With a focus on sustainability, transparency, and exceptional service, we support responsible aquaculture while delivering the freshest oysters.

Royal Oyster Co. became official. We built a brand around a simple promise — Tide to Table. Our temperature-controlled van, our curated selection of three varieties: Kumamoto, Golden Nugget, and Caballo Blanco.
